I love Dillon's, but some of the food is pricy. The meat is the worse price. When you work for Kroger it sucks that you only get discounts on Kroger foods, not on every food. I think the people that work there should get discounts on every food. It's awesome that people have Dillon's plus cards and we can save a lot of money. The thing I hate is when you buy less stuff you save a little bit of money or no money at all. I think Walmart is cheaper and they don't even have discount cards. Every thing is full price. Oh yeah, I see girls bringing carts in to the Dillon's and they look tiring and sweaty. I think the boys should be the ones to do it. There made for it. Girls are different then guys. Girls get more tiring and I don't think it should be there job to do it. Besides the boys do a better job & will always bring in the most carts. Walmart don't even have there girls go outside, all I see are boys doing it and they also have a machine, Dillon's just has a hook & a rope that you have to work with and it's more stressful. I'm sorry I'm dogging on you Dillon's, but you guys ain't really fair. If you wanna compete with Walmart theres a chance that you'll always lose because Walmart has the best deals. You might have the better food & better fruit & veggies, but that doesn't make a difference.

Yeah, you're right. By that, you also agree that the girls should get paid less, right? After all, why dump money on something that, according to you, "get more tiring", when they can pay men who "do a better job and bring in the most carts".

And by the way if you apply for the job courtesy clerk, then you should know that lot duty has to be done by every bagger to make things fair. If the guys are the only ones getting any work done out there, then maybe you're either out of shape or you're just plain lazy. Don't worry though, because after some 6 months kroger will put you on a register and then you can bitch about why girls have to do WIC (since it involves math, y'know.) You won't get far in this company with such an attitude.
lol what the **** is this, the 1800s? Women can do every job as well as a man, they shouldn't (and aren't legally allowed to be unless disabled or pregnant) be expected to do a lighter or heavier workload for more or less pay than men.
let's not kid ourselves there's sexism in hiring. we get very few female baggers and they always move up to cashier first even if seniority gets ignored. we get even fewer male cashiers.

Restaurant management was my first stop in the management gravy train. And yes, there is not only sexism but LOOKS-ism, too. It's no mistake most of your waitresses are sexy, crotch rocket-feeding cum bombs, while the vast majority of over night fast food drive up servers are obeses, Quasimodic wilderbeasts. The former is to draw long staying/well paying business; the latter is to repel it. 'GETCHO $HIT N GET OUT'.
