Store manager, co manager behaving badly
Permalink

A Kroger store clerk who I'm friends with on FB decided to take a couple pictures of customers who are black making fun of them and posted them on FB.  But it gets worse, a co-manager at 836 comments you should have seen "the chick" with the red hair and short shorts.  And the Store Manager at 933 laughs and says my eyes oh my eyes.  WFT this is not acceptable to be posting pictures of customers and for management to chime in with comments.  I've got screen grabs of them and might report them.  I've worked with both of them before and they didn't uphold Kroger's values then so while it surprises me I'm not surprised this would come from these two.

All three could get fired over this.

It's not ok to take pics of customers to post on FB even if off the clock.

Unless the OP is directly involved with the situation, he or she should stay out of it.  What I'm wondering is why didn't the OP simply ask the person who posted the pictures to take them down?  Also, if they found them offensive, why are they friends with this person?  It sounds more like the OP wants to stir up trouble.  It's not good to have a reputation as a tattletale or a troublemaker.

lolol "take them down"

Once it's uploaded it's up there. A person may delete it from his/her profile, but there are tons of site caches there that would make sure it's around.

OP, report them if you want. However, don't cry if they find out it's you (it's easy to pick out a rat) and you suddenly become ostracized from both work and social aspects of your life. ;)

 lol, "snitches get stitches!"

But, yeah, I bet the kroger online ouside of work policy would cover all three being fired for it.
