My high school reunion is coming up soon. So I put in the request for a Personal day in eSchedule.
Today I also gave my supervisor (manager) a written request, signed, requesting the same day off.
Wanted to cover my bases. She whined a little bit about how I should have just gone through eSchedule.
But this is the same supervisor whom upon my first being hired had been told that I couldn't be called in for training at the end of that week.
Guess what? That was when she had scheduled me for training.
*sigh*
