I work at food4less in san diego california and we have a employee bathroom that only the P.O.S. can use he puts a padlock on it and doesn't give the code to anyone he uses company money to buy these locks and I say locks because he has more then 10 of them anyways so I have been taking these locks off so that the employees can use the restroom and now I'm being threatened of loosing my job because he keeps spending company money buying locks and they say I'm at fault cause I am the one taking them off what should  do who can  call store #763

is food4less union?  i can't imagine padlocking a bathroom and not letting employees use it.  

that could be a violation of workplace rules.  if you need to call the State of CA you cant CAL/OSHA http://www.dir.ca.gov/dosh/Complaint.htm

He can NOT lock a bathroom to prevent other employees/customers from using it if need be. If he is afraid of the bathroom being messed up.... Oh well... FREAKKNG DEAL WITH THE MESS! IT HAPPENS!!!

also some people have a medical condition that REQUIRES them to have EASY ACSESS to a bathroom at ANY and ALL TIMES!!

Again, if it's a mess issue, DEAL WITH IT!!!
