I get there at 8:00 this morning and the place was packed-- with Kroger executives. After they all left, it was just a typical day. A typical Senior Day has more customers than we did today.

Ay yes. What will happen is your bosses will say "don't run out, don't run out" You will lose thousands in markdowns and outdated product not to mention the time it takes to do it.
They made these big displays of pies, cookies, and cakes and it's all going to be marked down. They've spent the entire day doing markdowns today. On Tuesday, they not only did Tuesday's markdown, they did Wednesday's markdowns as well. Then they said there were holes where the bread and rolls go. Of course there's holes. You all pulled all the product off the shelf. So then they baked more bread Tuesday night and it's all being marked down today. Mind you, none of this was done by the regular bakery people. It was all done by the extra help that came in and the people in charge of all the bakery departments. The regular bakery people just tried to stay out of the way.
That's all you can do is get out of the way. If you say something you will hear we were told this and not to run out. If you really put your foot down they will find a big shot somewhere in the store and they will destroy you.
