Can't seem to change availability....keeps saying request error some dates overlapping w/existing request....no matter how I try to change it i always get this message....only 3 in dept one on afternoons...does it mean their requests...doesn't make sense i changed it once since last year

No it had nothing to do with other employees. It's eschedule being dumb. Ask your dept head to change it manually.

Did you use your computer at home?  I've had trouble doing that and had to make changes at the store.
