had an incident with an employee about the temp logs in service deli. i told him to take the product out of the fryer and he did and i also told him to write it down on the cooking logs. The thing is i was in the back washing dishes and i couldnt take it out. the next day he complained about it and now is going to the union. what should i do???? plus he is a new employee and also he always yells at my dept head about stupid reason. help please
ok cool should i write a letter about what happen just incase.
If it makes you feel better, sure. It couldn't hurt to be safe, either.
What's he going to say to the union? "This guy told me to do something, and I didn't like it."
The union, if they are there for anything, are for conflicts between mgt and us trolls... not between employees. If the guy goes to management and complains, then just state your case and be done with it.
Nothing will happen, I'm sure. You'll be fine. Nothing to worry about, unless I'm missing something here.
Your store does temp logs? Every place I've been at just bull****s them, which is kind of amusing when the coolers break and there's a few hundreds dollars of "unexplained" shrink.
ya he noes he is just lazy and dont care because he lost his job af fem at Frys
If he got fired from Fry's, I find it very strange that he works at Kroger anyway. It takes either a ruthless manager or an incredibly stupid employee to get fired from Kroger, so this guy doesn't sound too amazing anyway.

OK, man, your wording is painful to read, and you are posting identifying info both in your username and your signature.
All obvious mistakes.
Fix it.
Oh ****. you know what? "Randy" might either be framing someone, or might actually think this is an official Kroger forum. He thinks username = EUID and that his signature is supposed to be his full name.
