So, I have a bit of a problem (I mostly just wanna rant somewhere, and also maybe hopefully get some help, if anyone has any to offer).
My unit manager offered me Assistant manager of grocery (I've only been here for 8 months). And I've only been training in grocery for five days so far. And the grocery manager only showed me like three things. And two of them I had already learned from my previous supervisor, and even though I'd explained that, so they'd show me something else, I got no more training aside from that.
The grocery manager is a really nice person, and everything. But I haven't been trained in anything, other than stocking.
And now my unit manager wants me to have a sit down meeting and "discuss everything I've learned so far". So I'm like 90% sure I'm going to end up not getting this promotion because I don't have anything to tell him.
So I really dunno what to do. I'll tell him everything I've "learned". And I don't think that will help much.
I just dunno what to do . I was really looking forward to this move, too.
I've never heard of assistant grocery. Do you get a raise? If you want to impress use words like cao, zero out of stocks, inventory, back stock review,
In grocery you get paid more money if you are the grocery manager, the night crew lead, or the DSD receiver. I've always thought the night crew lead was the assistant grocery manager.
