You don't mention what department you work for. That makes a huge difference. Front End is basically a jail cell where the warden is always on vacation and the guards can do what they want.
Deli, Dairy, Pharmacy, even Starbucks, these are other departments that, or so I hear rumors, are where people actually listen to your concerns.
