I'm a new-er Bagger (been for about 45 days), the Front End Supervisor asked me to take over a shift for another bagger, today would have been a day off.
My Question is, how do I clock in since I wasn't on the typed schedule? I know I can get an override or fill out the payroll request sheet? Which is more preferred? I've done both. Also, Do I still clock out for my break the same way?
Personally, I would rather bother the front desk or your supervisor to get an override rather than trusting someone to make corrections based on a piece of paper. Too many things can go wrong that way.

Thanks.
Both.
Get a manager or CSM to give you an override. Write in correction book that you were called in.
I have had 2 overrides on our new time clock. Both seemed to let me in. But, when I went for my breaks, my clock ins and outs were ring restricted.
Safer to write it in the correction book. Take breaks like normal when the acsm tells you to..
