Breaks & lunch?

I'm working 4.5 hours today (3-7:30). Will I get a break and a lunch or just a break? I'm not quite sure if I'll get a lunch or not. I've never worked this short of a shift before. My shortest shift was 6 hours.

Here, I thought if we worked four hours or less, we get a 15-minute break.

If we work six hours or more, we get a 15-minute break.

If we work eight hours, we get a 30-minute break, that can either go the full 30 minutes at once, or two 15-minute breaks.

I have never asked about lunch. It's kind of weird to think of lunch when I work from 6 - 11 in the evening.

We get a 15 minute break for first six hours. Seventh hour and beyond gets us a 30-minute break. Add 15 minutes to that 30 for every two hours after eight.

Why is that weird? Do you not eat dinner? O_o

I'm assuming they're talking about calling a meal break that late at night a lunch. Here we get 1 15 min break up to 6 hrs, a 15 min break and a state required 30 min lunch up to 8 hrs, and 2 15's and a 30 after that.

Kroger gives us enough crap with the 15 minutes. I have had pages on the intercom to come down while I am on break. I have just kept on until the 15 minutes were up and then gone down, calmly clocked back in, and informed the person whom paged me that I was still on break at the time of the page.
