How much do file maintenance clerks make? according to indeed.com they make about $37k/year on average but that is not specifically for kroger employees. So I'm guessing that number would be unreliable.

Erm... I think that's more of a professional/administrative position in other companies.

In general retail, file maintenance are the ones who work on the price tags, as well as making sure that all items are entered and priced correctly, as well as making sure that they ring up a certain price whether certain purchase requirements are met.

Basically, an overglorified clerk with an RF gun. You're in the same pay rate as your compatriots in the front end, and am dependent on how many hours you'll get.

if you are part time they make the same as front end clerk or bagger. in my store though if you work before 6 you get 50c extra per hour.

not sure about full time. i just know they change tags mondays and wednesdays though

ok, well I've never worked in a grocery store so i have no idea what any of you get paid. I'm coming off of disability and trying to find a job but apparently my recently earned associates degree isn't enough to get me a job in the field its in (IT) so i need to take what i can get, but need to be earning more than what i get on disability or its not worth the trouble to even try.

I'll be honest with you, having an Associates in IT is as dime a dozen as a pharmacy tech. At least over here it is. Now, if you had a BSEE, that'll be a different story. :P

You start off at minimum wage, ten cents above that if you're lucky.

the file maintenance lead makes about $15/hr in some stores in my division. but it depends on the contract and maybe the sales volume. helpers just make regular clerk pay.

In Atlanta, file maintenance is considered a lead position.  That means you get extra per hour.  Lead file is a 40 hr. position.

Is file maintenance the same as scan coordinator?

Oh ok.I don't know the payrate for it but here in Cincy/Dayton, Scan Coordinator is a dept lead position. So they should get paid more.

It's technically a coordinator position in my contract, which is different from a lead.

Nutrition, Starbucks, and fuel have leads; seafood, wine/spirits, dairy, frozen, floral, cake decorator, and file maint have coordinators.
