I'm about to turn 50 years old next week, and I work midnights on the grocery crew. I've been doing it going on 15 years, and I feel like it is finally catching up with me. It is getting to me mentally and physically. It would be nice to going back to days, and getting to sleep at night, but working days at Kroger would be stressful dealing with customers and managers. I want to stay in grocery, so I guess I would be day stocking or get bounced around doing dairy and frozen.
If you go on day shift you'll have to deal with all the quevision nonsense as well as snot nosed kids who think they know it all or just 100% slack off. Think long and hard about this. Both jobs come with their share of stresses.
