My store manger is awful and many employees have problems with her... like real problems, not just not liking her because she makes them do their job, but like demoting employees, choosing obvious favorites, and just not catering or trying to cater to her employees. What can I do about that?
Not always true....not all store managers get transferred every year. This one store manager has been at the same store for 5 years. He has driven off every decent and hard working dept head as well as other employees and has ran this store into the ground. I can't believe he is still in charge.....his store has had nothing but problems but he is still there along with his crappy co managers.
I've been at the same store for over 25 years. In that time I've seen countless co-managers come and go. Usually, the newer ones are rotated more often than the veterans. Store managers are rotated less often. The one that's there now is the fifth one that's been there since I've been there. Three of them left because they retired. The fourth one got a promotion. So now we're on the fifth. Generally, if the store is making money, they don't like to upset things too much.
