Darn, I was hoping to avoid talking to them. They're very pushy about UW and will make you feel guilty if you say no.
Just tell them no. If they try to coerce you, just tell them no again. You don't have to give a reason. If they insist on a reason just say, "Because I said so." Don't say you can't afford it or you give elsewhere. That's none of their business. Just say no and drop it.
yea the best advice I can give about donations is to say that "I prefer to donate my funds to smaller, grass root organizations" or something to that effect. no need to feel quilt over saying no.
