Yeah. Que-vision sucks down here as well. so do the managers and the csm's. One of which has only been working for Kroger for a few months and because this person is best friends with a district trainer, said person went from cashier to CSM after a month of working for our store, garurenteed 40 hrs a week. Amazing how I was never asked if I wanted it. No one even knew about it. Atleast none of the cashiers. I've been at the store for a year now, and the girl I was hired with was made a CSM a month before this person came to work for Kroger. How is that right. I was denied the oppurtunity to work in floral dpt. while the florist was out, because I am one of there best and they needed me to cashier too much, etc. but not offered a position for full time work? So then my FE manager let a new hire with no floral training go to that dpt. and get a pay raise since its been more than 3wks, and now the new hire is in floral dpt as a floral asst. for our florist. Even better is that me and two others have gone and were given floral training at another store that was #1 in our area in floral sales, but all three of us were denied this oppurtunity when the florist asked my manager for one of us to cover for her dpt. while she was out. Yeah, and had I been aware that my pay would be $2.35 less an hr than what I was making at Albertsons I would have told them hell no. Had I known that my previous experience only counted Albertsons and a .10 more than baggers wage I would have ran away from this job. And had the recruiter not been such an evasive trick about pay and "previous" experience, I wouldn't have thought they' count car hopping at sonic, being a phone rep for AT&T, GM clerk for Target as experience, then I sure as hell would not be stuck here making 7.70 an hour. I love seeing posts witching about the woes of being paid 8.50+/hr. cause they have bills to pay and no one can live off that pay. Especially when I have 3 kids to take care of, 2 of which are special needs, and have to do it on that pay alone since Im also a single parent. Now who here can tell me what I should do about my CSM acting hostile towards me. Nobody believed me until 2 of my fellow cashiers witnessed it in the break room. We were sitting at the table and I was helping one of them with her phone cause it wasn't working and he swings open the break room door and starts yelling at me, berating me about my break time. He said he called me over the intercom yet none of us heard him in the break room. He blocked my way out so I had to push the door wider so I could get out, and then he continued to yell at me while we were walking back to the registers. Now he's sabotaging my que vision by calling away any bagger that comes to bag at my register. I've had my fellow cashiers watch what he does, and my FE manager is oblivious to it all, but the cashiers and dpt. clerks see it. He will then ask them what register had a dip, and Guess what, its my register that had more than 2 dips. He'll also tell customers to go to my register when I'm on express with a full basket of stuff, and that makes my register out of que because i'm the only express lane open when he does this. I already complained but no one Has done anything about it.
