Co-Manager can't admit he's wrong Part 2
Permalink

Well our new co-manager who can't admit he's wrong has struck again.  The other day while the Ecolab guy came to the deli do do an inspection.  The only thing he busted us on was the baked chicken in the steam table wasn't up to temp.  So we had to throw it out.  So Mr. Know it all co-manager said we didn't put it out hot enough to begin with.  We tried telling him the steam table didn't seam to be as hot on the side we were serving the chicken out of.  No such luck with the know it all, we were wrong and he was right.

Well guess what?  The next day one of the maintenance guys came in and told us what we've suspected all along, a heating element on that side of the steam table was out.  That jack@$$ just can't admit he's wrong.

I see you post on here occasionally and for the most part I agree with ur posts. However you are cruisin for a bruisin by posting your specific incidents and identifying the mgmt. person not by name but by their specific behavior. NOT A SMART THING TO DO BROTHER! They(H.R. at the office) do follow these posts and dearly love to terminate long term employees that they deem to be instigators or just plain company haters(which it sure souns like you have become and rightfully so). This jack ass co-mgr might be wrong but u callin him out on it puts u in the hot seat for disrespecting mgmt and creating unrest among ur fellow workers. You need to care less about stupidity and inexperience in the work place- it's only going to get worse as the seasoned full timers(such as urself)  are culled from the herd. As for co-managers- they are hired straight out of college and are told there's unlimited potential for advancement so they go thru a quick/ hands off training program and are thrown into the mix. Many move on to better careers within 2-3 yrs. and the few that stay keep gettin transferred around or grab an entry level office position. Jackass will eventually leave only to be replaced by other naive jackasses- never ending cycle. Chill out and just ride it out till retirement or u will be the one that comes out the loser in all of this....

No, they don't. If stores can't bother to read reviews being written about them, and Kroger corp. can't address the issues customers throw at them on their own Facebook page or even their phone lines, then they are NOT monitoring what we do here. Nobody has every been fired for what's posted here, and based on this forum's crude design, it'll take a massive lawsuit that Kroger does not have the time for.

You can hate on the company, but they can't do **** if they don't know who's saying what. And 90% of all members of management all act the same after a year or two. I can describe a co-manager, and it'll match several people that posters here would connect the description to.

Reminds me of that joke we had about a school that had a heavy majority of Hispanics:

"Would all the Martinez's please stand up?"

*350 students stand up*

"Err... just the Juan Martinez's, please".

*700 students stand up*

Well we can all tell that you come by your nickname deservably.  I guarantee you they follow all the on line postings, reviews, and editorials...But they will never admit or even acknowledge that they do or it would cause them bad PR . Just because they haven't approached you or because you aren't privy to their clandestine surveillance doesn't mean that it isn't going on. Now on the brighter side my condolences to your fellow coworkers who are within earshot of your screeching complaining voice .. I myself would wear earplugs everyday I had to work within 50 ft of you. Have a rotten day..

Actually under the NLRB we have the right to discuss working conditions or wages.
