i will be starting w kroger in calif.

can you tell me the pay period. is it sunday thur sat? etc.

It would be better to ask someone at your store.  Although, some people from California do post here occasionally.

At my store, it is Sunday - Saturday.  Then, get paid on Thursday via Direct Deposit.

Generally the pay week works Sunday - Saturday then the 'next' week starts up again.
If you do not have direct deposit set up you will pick up a paper paycheck on Friday.
Direct deposit, through most Kroger stores, drops on Thursdays, usually sometime after 5 a.m.
I have checked my account after midnight, thinking automation, but then have gone to bed and found it 'dropped' into my account at 7-8 a.m.(ish).

I use Wells Fargo so I guess it depends on your bank.

In California, pay period is Monday-Sunday, with payday on Friday. Each week's schedule is also Monday-Sunday.
