Almost got hit in the parking lot.

So, I was out doing carts today and this lady decided to NOT stop as I was crossing with a load of carts. Most people are courteous enough to stop and let me go. This lady, however, wasn't even paying attention. She blew through the parking lot without even looking. Two other CCs who were out there with me almost got hit too, not by the same lady though. Why do people have NO courtesy in a parking lot? Smh.

Kroger would write you up for your mutilated body touching the precious customer's vehicle.

And for not using the 3 A's while you got plowed.

You beat me to it! Obviously Kroger would have an SIR waiting for OP since he didn't tell him about the customer survey as well!

Had a customer back into a CC once. They got out, ran around to the back, and asked if their car was ok.

I feel your pain.
Our customers do not give a damn about us or you.
They would sooner run over your foot than not make that extra 20, 30, 40 feet in their air-conditioned vehicle as you sweat it out in the hot, humid air and gas fumes.

Never forget that.

If a customer hit me and asked about their car I'd pry a brick from Kroger and throw it through their windshield.

Would you then ask them "How's your windshield?" Because that would make it perfect.

"If you didn't back into people then your car would have been fine. However since you ran me over i'm suing you."

I made it clear to my supervisors a long time ago that in the event I am ever hit (and hopefully I will be in the 'right' due to wearing the stupid reflective vest) that I will be quitting on the same day.

Not 'suing', mind you. Just quitting. Although it would suck to not have income coming in, I know I can do better than Kroger and eight months (so far) is a pretty good show that I can put up with their crap and put up with retail.

I make the same amount of pay for even less amount of accolade, accomplishment or reinforcement while out in the parking lot.
I don't make enough or could put up with enough to get hit by a car, no matter how slow, fast or backing up it was doing at the time.
If it happens, I quit.

If you KNOW you can do better than Kroger, then get out of here. If you want to say Kroger is a dead end job you should seriously back up your words.

Working on it dude but without reliable transportation to take me out of the city or offer up better opportunities from within the city I live it is rather difficult.
Trust me, if I had my car working, I would quit Kroger tomorrow.
