Has anyone ever worked at hobby lobby?

I was wondering if hobby lobby would be a good place to work at, it's retail to.  Maybe I should get a part-time job there during the holidays and find out.  It's Christian owned, but I might not like hearing  some of the Christian music all day long.

i'm sick of working overnights at Kroger stocking, i'm the 50-year-old  that's been there for 30 years And I've posted here before.  Seems like it would be a more positive workplace than Kroger, and they get Sunday's off, but I don't know how much they get paid to start out with.  Does anyone know how much they are paid hourly?

Unless you don't mind taking a huge pay cut i wouldn't do it. I've never worked there but "Christian" or not, they're going to pay you minimum wage or so to start.

*put in quotes because a business can not have a religion lol

Can you imagine stocking all those little bitty craft pieces and conditioning?

Lol... I'd go insane working there.

I couldn't deal with the stampers and scrap bookers.

But it can use religion to get all up in yo' bidness.

Maybe the OP is ready to abstain from the evils of birth control.

Sounds like you've had some bad experiences with them in the past - care to share?

This is the OP last year I saw a segment on the 700 club about Hobby Lobby and they said, that they were raising the pay for employees to $11.00 an hour company wide.

Another thing I don't believe that they use the scanning system at checkout and no RF handhelds for making orders and inventory, they still do it the old fashioned way.
