Well.. pretty sure the UFCW is partially owned/carried by Kroger(yes I am saying the Union has sold out to Kroger). So it depends on how trustworth Teamster is.

the teamsters even though I have read some union members are upset with their union leadership. the ufcw has sold out to the Kroger co. I have always heard that the teamsters union will fight for you. we definitely need new union representation.

With our last contract (we no longer get raises , we get a stupid ratification bonus , which we only see 50% of it due to the fact that Kroger writes it off as a gift tax , so they don't have to pay tax on it , we are taxed to death over it) I asked my rep about teamsters ( his father's job was represented through the teamsters) He would not answer , he changed the subject. I think the Teamsters would do a great job getting better pay and benefits.

I think the Teamsters have lost their balls, unless you are one of the old dogs. Then they will protect them because of the time.

If you are new and just trying to do the right thing forget about support.

I have been lied to by both the union business  agent and shop steward. 

And last with inflation at 9% the best the Teamster did for me is a $0.50 raise this year.

This means I am making less today then 2 years ago when the contract was negotiated.

WOW $0.50 is about a 1.6% raise. After a 5 year contract and the current rate of inflation my pay will move from BS to just S.

 That's because you were. UFCW is incompetent to the level of criminal behavior, imo. I guarentee they're paid off regularly by the companies workers are payhing for their protection from. 

They are both horrible and corrupt.
