Hmm....

Get a 6x4x4 box. Make sure you have the proper labels and markings for it. I suggest getting an address in Caliefornia that's not rural.

Schedule a pick up time with UPS (don't trust FedEx). I suggest you pick the fastest shipping option for your class. Besides, UPS will get you to Caliefornia sooner than FedEx will ever do.

Place yourself inside the box. Again, make sure that your destination in Caliefornia is a-ok.

Wait until you've reached your destination in Caliefornia.

Of course, you can also drive yourself to Caliefornia. But, who wants to do that? Sure, there's a car culture in Caliefornia, but they're all annoying there... in Caliefornia.

Contrary to what others may say, Caliefornia does have higher wages, bus do you really want to transfer to Caliefornia?
Also, what would your reasons be for transferring to Calie?
Like others, you should make sure that you're willing to resettle in Caliefornia.
If you're transferring because of store issues, eh, I can't blame you. But it's not like Caliefornia is any better.
Even though I think that Washington and Caliefornia are just as bad as each other, I think you'll be fine transferring.
Following what experiences you may have had in your current position, I won't blame you if it's bad enough to move to Caliefornia.
Of course, I hope you ARE talking about moving to Caliefornia. Unless that 'calie' is actually something like a calories... or kangaroos.
Remember, transferring from one state to Caliefornia may cause you to lose what seniority you may have.
Nevermind the fact that you'd have to kiss ass with any unions in Caliefornia.
In the even that you do relinquish any seniority you have, don't worry. Just wait a decade until the older people die away.
And, of course, make sure that your HR people in your current store knows.

Man... hopefully that was worth it. xD

Figure out what local is in the area where you're moving to and talk to them.  We've had folks from cali and arizona make it here (oregon) so its possible.  May want to talk to your local as well.  My guess is most people are going the other way, but Im sure it can work.

Honestly washington is getting as bad as california in the seattle area at least.

Why would you want to move out of Washington? Don' you have legal weed?

back on topic, Call the stores in the area, ask for the manager, where you're going to be moving to and ask if they have any openings. Tell them you're going to be moving down there and would like it if they could send out the paperwork for your transfer to the new location to your current store.

Best of luck!
