I no longer work for Kroger. Will I get my W2 in the mail?

I worked at Fred Meyer for two months. I lost my job 4 months ago. My manager told me once that I had to go online to request my W2. I spoke to a friend recently that works there. She said just wait for it to come in the mail. She has already gotten hers and I'm still waiting. I tried logging in w2express and some of the other Kroger employee sites and my log in no longer works. Should I just wait and see if it comes? And if it doesn't come in the mail what should I do? disbelief

You only go online if you want your W2 electronically. Otherwise, just wait for the mail. You should receive it by next week at the latest. If you don't, visit the store you worked in and talk to management.

I understand that you've already gone on W2 Express, but try it again, anyway: www.w2express.com/

If "Fred Meyer" doesn't work, try "Kroger" instead.

I tried Kroger. I got as far as it wanting my pin number. None of the numbers I have worked and when I clicked on the link to reset my password it said that that page was not available. I guess I'll just wait and see if it comes in the mail.

It shouldn't redirect you to any other page if you click on "Forgot your PIN?"

Go here: secure.w2.talx.com/preauthenticated/pinlogin.ascx

It should have a pop up window asking for a User ID.

Your User ID is you ENTIRE social security number.

After that, it should ask for a PIN. Hit "Forgot your PIN?" and answer the questions that you're shown.
