Been wanting to ask this since my days of being an employee are over. How do you guys see the work force of kroger being? I see it being these main groups
1. Young kids: Teenagers/college students. Most of them will not be there long and some will have a work ethic.
2. Retired: Those that are looking for some more income to support themselves can do a variety of jobs
3. Long time employees: Those that have been with the company a long time. From what i have seen and heard they are being moved out of the company and wont be there longer.
4. Disabled: Kroger has to employ a certain number of people with disabilities. Can do a variety of jobs but will not be able to handle the stress most regular workers do.
If this is what kroger will be dealing with as their work force things dont look "up" for them. Plus there have been post about managers being used to do our job since they "cant" keep workers that doesnt add anything good to the situation.

Any disabled people I do see are courtesy clerks. It's a shame really, considering how hard it is to move up. They'll be at the bottom of the pole forever (unless they move on).

There was a girl that had been in several departments while I was at kroger. They did "try" to train her but at the speed she moves it never worked out! Before I left they had her doing random odds and ends stuff.
