I'm so happy for all of you who finally go out of Kroger! I hope you all find another job twenty times better :)

On another note, I feel stuck here. Like I know right now financially I can't just quit Kroger, and not many other stores are hiring that are in walking distance. So in other words.. I'm stuck here until I find another job or I can make it full time. It wouldn't be so bad if they didn't run this store half-a**ed..

For example: I've been getting scheduled crappy shifts. 2 days ago I was scheduled to work 4 hours. Since I work Fuel Center, our contract requires a break every 2 hours. I waited PAST the 2 hours for my break, and got nothing. Now I wouldn't have been mad about it if it weren't for the fact that every one else in the damn store gets their breaks, and we (in the Fuel Center) never get our breaks on time. And then we get yelled at by management and questioned why we didnt get our breaks!

If I'm too busy in the fuel center and can't call to remind them about my break, then it seems that they think that's reason enough to not give it to me. Ridiculous.

Management doesnt care about you or any of its employees. They will just pile more work on you regardless if its just you and expect it done! I dont know anything about how those that work in the fuel center, but do you have to "ask" them for a break?

Keep looking for work for any part time or full time jobs. They way kroger runs things it wont get any better and you DONT want to make this your "life".

Remember management is only looking out for themselves....learn to look out for "yourself" as well!

I know how you feel. I was forced to look for jobs away from my home because nothing around here was hiring. Feel like I'm stuck here, which is frustrating.

Sorry I didnt see this before. No, we're supposed to get ours every 2 hours as planned and scheduled by someone inside. (whoever the people with the red vests are). But now that I complained they started giving me my breaks on time. Go figure.
