Hours definition for "Scanning Coordinators"

Can some one tell me what the required hours for a scanning coordinator are in division 660? Is it a full time position our only a couple days a week? One I know has been with the company about 10 years. Always got 40 hrs but now is told they are only defined as part time and get two days a week in the department. So I was just curious if this was accurate or not.

If you're the actual scan coordinator (file maintenance lead) and not just help, then it IS a full time position.

if youre the lead then yes, 40 hours more than twice a week. back up maybe more than twice a week when the lead is on vacation. but other than that it's 2 day position that's not guaranteed a 8 hour shift

As others have said, if you're the lead, then it's a full time position. If you're just one of the helpers, then you get at max two nights a week unless the lead is on vacation or if a very rare instance comes up. Some of the helpers also only are scheduled every other week, sometimes once a month, and others are scheduled both days every week.

I'm not sure how it is for most stores, but at mine, it's also one of the few positions that is allowed overtime.

Ok so if the scanning coordinator has been with the company almost ten years and it still says part time In exspress hr and only being scheduled in the department 2 days but the backup is getting 40 what should they do? I know they have applied for full time at least 3 times. It always gets  because the backup is an old time who gets 5 weeks vacation and it's impossible to go the 12 weeks without them having a day off. So now what?

 then the back up is actually the lead.

the scan coordinator position is full time. the back up can be full time as well but most of the time it's not a full time position.

if on their profile on express HR it says scan coordinator and nothing else and still part time i would either quit or ask to be on front end. not worth the stress if youre not full time.

Thank you. Yea my backup is an old timer but she never wanted the stress and responsibility if being lead so she always declined the position. In exspress hr it does state scanning coordinator but in the full time\part time it says part time. My manager is finally"hearing" me and is trying to work with me. Once I explained it's the store that's suffering he finally got it. Thanks for the feedback.
