I make $8.35 an hour. That is only 20 cents higher than my state's minimum wage. I just checked my pay stub on express hr for tomorrow and I see that my dues have risen to $9.18 a week! That is ridiculous. I plan on only working four hour a week once the fall comes because of school but now I think I'll just quit. 8.35*4=33.4*.82(I loose roughly 18 percent to taxes)=27.88-9.18=18.20! That is less than $20 for four hours of work. On top of that I have to pay for gas to get there. I don't receive any benefits. I would make so much more if I just made minimum wage with no union dues. /endrant
