Is it worth it to transfer divisions? I am moving down south and am contemplating transferring instead of quitting. I only make 8.70 an hour for working there for years. I work customer service. I would be working at Harris Teeter because they don't have Krogers down there. Would it be worth the trouble to transfer or should I try to work for Costco or something? I'm kind of afraid of leaving because I've worked at Kroger for so long.

Find a Harris Teeter in the area you are transferring to and work for them. Get settled into your new home, learn your way around the area. Then you can fill out some apps after you get settled.
In my division, if someone from another division transfers here, they get to keep their seniority for one year only. You might have to start all over, you might get experience pay. You should check before you transfer so you can make an informed decision.
when i transferred divisions from dillions to smiths i got a 4 dollar raise because smiths kept its pay scale when kroger bought them out it was worth it even though i had to check for six months before getting back to cs i would see what your pay would be and some benefits can change so i would see what they offer
