i made another post recently about availability issues. my supervisor always puts me down for hours that are outside of my availability. i asked her if she could shift my hours to another time. she said that she couldn't. i did not come in because i could't miss my prior obligations. then i get questioned about why i didn't come in!! that is messed up!
Simply tell her that you had stuff that you needed to do, and technically you should not have been scheduled out of your available hours. If she couldn't change your hours, then that is what happens. Especially if it's for school. Higher education > Kroger.
I don't understand what the issues are. Fill out your availability on greatpeople.me. If it's not up there, they aren't going to honor it. It's really as easy as that. It is not hard to operate the website...
If you have your availability online, but they schedule you for a conflicting time, let management know. They literally are not allowed to do this. It happened to me once by mistake and they fixed it for me. No fuss there.
