So...our dress code does not allow leggings or jogging pants, yet the very young c.c's get away with this...anybody else have this dress code? And people getting away with not following?
I've haven't seen anything like this, but of course that is because the manager would regulate so.quickly. I can't believe they wouldn't say anything, that seems so unprofessional.
Yoga pants are inappropriate at work or anywhere other than home in my opinion. Saying they're comfortable is bs. As a man I don't need to wear tights to be comfortable enough to get through my day. Yoga pants are strictly for showing off every curve or your butt and if you deny it I say your lying. They're okay if you cover up of course. We all have our own opinions though. I'd never let my daughter wear em. Call me old school but they way women wear tights around anymore is just immoral. i could go on forever, we are all entitled to our own opinions of course.
The number one thing I wear is pinstriped pants. One is a black pair with white pinstripes. The other is a khaki color with beige pinstripes. It makes me look at least a little professional. Plus management is happy as long as they don't see anyone wearing yoga pants. Ironically at my interview my hiring manager had a long speech with each new employee about how if we were to wear yoga pants we would be fired immediately.
Some of my front end guys took advantage of the "shorts during the summer" dress code, which extended to most of the time when it wasn't freezing. I'd get on to them if it was obviously going to be cold but otherwise it wasn't an issue. I did say they couldn't wear basketball type shorts.
Can you tell me what the current dress code is? Can I wear black or tan khakis? What kind and color of shoes I need? They just said khaki pants and sneakers......
