You should be VERY VERY careful what you post on FB. Kroger CAN and WILL see your post and you WILL be found out. EVEN if you have no employee friends on fb. I've had some ass****er call human resources on me for saying stuff. And it wasn't all that bad. And when I told my lady on the phone at work on my lunch someone overheard the human resource complaint, and they were called again and paid me a visit.

OP never posted anything, nor did he ever encourage anyone to do so.

Anyway, to answer the question, yes, I have read them even when I was employed.

Some of the concerns and grief were legitimate (like an entire shelf of moldy, expired Kroger cheese). Then there were others that were unreasonable (like product complaints that's obviously another grocery chain's brand). I remember about a year ago when a Kroger manager was fired for stopping a robber (there was a topic about it here, too) and the Kroger's Facebook page blew up with condemnation from the general public.

Oh and then there are the funny and dumb remarks that people also make.

Was just giving a general warning. Also Safeway fired a guy for stopping a customer from beating the hell out of his pregnant wife. It got posted on Fb and it went crazy. The guy did get his job and pay reinstated if I'm not mistaken. Don't know if management in Kroger got his job back. But anyhoo, big companies like kroger hate bad publicity.

And yes, there are pretty damn funny things in Kroger's fb page. The little snippets can be entertaining

I used to read the Kroger FB page religiously until it got taken over by the anti-gun shut-ins.

I think they are mostly gone now, but I haven't been back lately. Used to be, you could see some pretty amusing things. People are unreal sometimes.

On the other hand, you can see some pretty legit complaints, and I'd feel pretty bad for the folks.

Still.. as Mega-Kitteh said, don't post there. Your job, and social media simply don't mix.

Many years ago, there was a Facebook group, I still remember it, called ATTENTION KROGER SHOPPERS. It was an employee forum and I read the comments for two hours and almost died laughing what people wrote on there. The group got deleted a long time ago. Too bad.
