progressive discipline policy

does Kroger have a progressive discipline policy for non-union employees? That is, is there  policy book that delineates warnings, discipline, followed by termination? Thank you for your time.

non union as in salaried or just folks who didn't join the union?

there's special rules for cash shortages but generally there's a verbal warning / note to file, a CA (constructive advice) write up and three CA for the same problem in nine months is a suspension and more than that and they can let you go.  That's how it's been explained to me.

All Kroger stores have to follow the union rules even when dealing with non-union employees.

That information should be in the union contract, employee handbook, or you can call the corporate office and ask them.  There is also a Kroger hotline you can call - the number is in the employee handbook.

 No, Right To Work states mean you CAN BE FIRED FOR ANY REASON. They don't like the smell of your farts? Too bad, you are fired.

Actually, it would be employment "at will".  Check out Wikipedia - at will employment.  It explains it in detail.

Why don't you just call human resources at Kroger and ask them?  That would be the easiest way.

I was wrong.  Right to work is all about requirements for employment.

 Yes, it's all in the policy book.  Do you not have a copy?

 Your question is to broad for anyone to help.  Different states/unions have different rules.
