I've been an night stocker for a few years now and everthing was fine, 40 hrs a weeks, not full time, Back room was messy etc.
A new grocery maneger arrives and in the time span of a whole month everthing went to ****. Like the dude changed my go in time to an hr later and I get out LATE. I got **** to do in the am am the union says there is nothing they can do. Everything is piling up, theres only 4 crew, 10 asiles, big ass trucks and the day management refuse to do anything to help. On top of that the grocery head is going around the store throwing the blame at the crew for not wanting to put the trucks up.
WHAT THE **** am I supose to do? I want to get transfered to a different store or a day position but all i keep getting is "wait itll get better" Or "we have to get replacements before you can transfer"- hell no. I loved my job but now its the most annoying thing to do. On top of that I havent took my break ever since this dude came in coz I wanted to finish the trucks but this dude is crap and should never asked to be a department head.
I seriously want to quit but I need the checks. any advice on how to go about getting moved?
You have to make it so the dept head wants you gone. Always take your breaks. Work at a leisurely pace. Don't get in a hurry for
anything. If he yells at you just say that you're done breaking your back for him.
