I went for my interview with Fred meyers last friday. Took my drug test and signed for the background. I was offered the job and was told they will contact me when they hear back on the tests. Tomorrow will be One week since. How long does it normally takes to hear back? Will they contact me if I didn't get the job?
It varies from location to location. Some clinics can be quick about getting the results back, others can take longer. Same with Background Checks. I know with mine, I got the results back in a couple days and had Orientation scheduled pretty quickly soon after. However, your state/city will likely vary. Best thing to do if it's been a week is go in and ask if your HR Manager is in and if they are, ask them if they've heard back yet by chance.
