Anyone familiar with the Nashville division and HR?

Been dealing with some pay issues for a few months now since my title changed and my stores HR manager told me it's because we recently changed from the mid south division, division but no one in corporate HR gave me a straight answer the nearly 20 times I kept calling and talking to someone so I feel as though I'm getting the run around.

Can your union help you?  If not try the workforce commission for your state. Or both.

Could you explain the problem more in depth?

When I was hired as a Pharmacy Tech I was started at a base pay of $7.50 but because I had previous retail experience I was given experience pay on top of that. In September or so the division changed. Base pay for non certified went up to $9.60 an hour. In April I got certified and all of my previous experience apparently goes away because of the certification in my job title.

Which I would understand but every single one of my coworkers who is certified kept their experience when they got certified which means their pay is about $3 dollars higher than mine for doing the same job. HR has told me over and over that it's correct the way it is but I can't get a why. If I was there at the same time as them we weren't hired in different contracts or anything so why should different rules apply?

At my store pharmacy techs are not union.  Are you union?  Have you talked with a union rep?
