On ExpressHR now, I'm still considered a Courtesy Clerk. How long does it take to update ExpressHR?
I think the most important thing is your paycheck and if they adjust your pay to a higher rate. Who cares about the classification if the money is on your check!
We had a courtesy clerk get promoted to grocery clerk, it took around 2 weeks for it to show up in HRExpress. He did receive backpay for the 2 weeks that were not at proper rates.
The longer they keep you at courtesy clerk, the more back pay you'll recieve. However, dknt just sit on it. Make sure you speak to management and keep on them about adjusting your pay to the proper amount. We have one guy moved to liquor, and they STILL have him on courtesy pay. They should adjust his pay by next week. They don't want to, but they ain't got a choice.
