Store managers massive contract breach

we are 50+ people in the hole across the board in our store. Many of the full timers got so fed up with our micromanagement team they moved to other areas in our division so they could transfer by bid/seniority store transfers. You could not get a job at many of the other stores because they would send their new hires to us, promising more hours. Anyway, two new part time grunts are replacing every full time clerk that leaves our store. They do not want any more full time clerks at our store; which I'm pretty sure that's a contract breach because the full time clerk openings within the store remain the same because they were generated by working the 12 weeks or regular full time openings. Anyway, if I have part time seniority within my department, shouldn't I have that full time position because it's always been there?

And now we know why are Union and our Company loves Obamacare.   They Union gets more union dues and the Company doesn't have to pay out any benefits.  I'm sure some of you people voted for this.  Oh and the "oldtimers" are getting fired for petty things.  Don't you just love it.

Our old contract had a clause in it that stated something like the company must make available as many full time jobs as possible.  I never got a new contract book to see if that changed, I'm sure it did.  The only way I got the old contract book was because they signed a new contract so they printed new contract books.  Wasn't that nice of them to finally give me a book after I tried to get one for almost two years?  Here, here's a book, it's old, we changed everything so we don't need these old books laying around.  They told me consistently for two years they didn't have any books.

Open up your availability and claim hours until you get as many as you can.  Check your contract.  Knowing Kroger they will expect the part time person to do the work of a full time person, but in 1/2 the hours and less pay.
