I am to be a new hire pending a drug test and background check, I had interviewed last week and was offered the position and I accepted, was drug tested and then told that I would be hearing form the HR rep whom did my interveiw within a few days. It has been well over a week now and still no call. I know I passed both, but dose anybody have any idea how long it takes for this information to go from store to third party back to store? I have lived in two different states and more than 8 different address in the past 10 years, would this affect how long it could take to get my background check done? Im conflicted as to what to do, I know some managers like to play games to see how patient you are but that is just messed up in my opinion. I know people who were offered a position and were called back the very next week. Any clues or personal experiences would be greatly appreciated, so I can judge my predicament better.
