Could be my last week at Kroger..

I've worked at Kroger for 8 years and the last year I've been gotten overly written up to the point of no return. I do great work and work hard. Now I'm on my 3 day suspension. I have a feeling I will get fired the next time I work unfairly! I'm looking for another job right now!

What department?

What are the write-ups for?

Do you make a decent wage?

It is not easy going from top wage back to minimum wage again.  That is how I started at Kroger.  Went from $15 to $7.35.  I am making decent pay now and enjoy my job.  Have you considered changing whatever you are getting in trouble for?  Stay out of trouble for 6 months or however long your contract says the write-ups drop off.

If you do find something better, I wish you the best.

Bakery, When I work with someone they want to fire and they want me gone also. I make 15 an hour. I'm going to find a job elsewhere.

Why not look into transferring to another Kroger store? $15.00 an hour is pretty good for retail. You might find a better environment at another Kroger store as some are definitely better than others when it comes to management teams/employees.

What do you do in the bakery?

You are better off not working for this company.
Until they get their crap together, which won't happen, good people will be run off.

What's going on? Why are you being written up?

I've dealt with my fair share of bakery drama and have seen it from all sides, the hard working employees getting criticized for no reason, and the ones who've been there a while who think it's ok to be lazy, to the new employees who are just no help what so ever.

If you think it's because they're targeting you to get the full timers out - believe me i think they are doing that in some departments - i agree, see about transferring if you have to? you don't want to lose out on $15 an hour.
