The insurance I get from my store sucks ass. With the amount of money I get paid and the so few hours I get, there is NO way I can afford the bare minimum insurance they give me... In order to use it, I'd have to pay out $2,500 each year not including other costs, before insurance will even kick in.
That's damn near impossible for me... so Im going to shop elsewhere. Until then! Then still take money out of my paycheck... Is there ANY way at all to 'opt out' and, while I'm not asking for any money back, stop them from continuing to take money out of each paycheck..? For something I'll never use?
I was looking for insurance for my daughter and I read something - I think on the Obamacare website - that a company cannot withold more than 10% of your income for insurance. I may be wrong about the percentage, but it might be worth checking out. That's what sucks about his whole Obamacare fiasco. You have to have insurance, but companies cut you to part time so you basically work to pay the insurance premiums. You need a cash job. Mow some yards, rake some leave. Make a cardboard sign and stand on the corner lol! Tax free money.
