Must be making a lot of grilled cheese

Walked past the dairy department this morning.  ALL the cheese was gone.  I mean it was completely wiped out.  There was no sliced cheese.  There was no shredded cheese.  There was no bulk cheese.  Walked past the bread aisle.  It was wiped out too.  Bakery was nearly wiped out too.   The even bought all the artisan bread, and some of that stuff never sells.  Our sales on Thursday were double across the board than what they usually are.  All you have to do is say the word, "Snow" and people will think they're going to be stuck at home for days or weeks even.  What's even more funny is those same people will be back two days later for the next snow scare.

Same here, we hit our budget before noon. Then people coming in at 11PM wonder why there's no meat or bread.

It's not even snowing in my area.  It's going to be 70's all next week.  I was watching the weather last night and thinking about what I need to stock up on early lol!  We don't get snow or ice until February and we usually loose power for a few days.  I still remember that winter with no power and nobody had any firewood.  Dang I was cold.

I worked last night until 9, then came back in this morning at 8.

One of our co's freaked out because our bakery looked like total crap... saying it HAD to be set by 9...

Then our store manager came back and set him straight and was like excuse me, this all happened overnight so chill out.

We aren't even getting this storm, it's supposed to be all below Dayton and Cincy but people are stupid.

At our store everyone was stocking up for either to make french toast or milk sandwiches. 1 to 2 inches of snow of course means go raid your local Kroger, grab as much bread and milk as your cart will allow because the next person may take some (oh the horror!). Make sure to use choice colorful words of hatred towards the cashiers starting with "Ya'll knew this storm was coming so why don't you have more milk and bread?!" Don't let your cashier apologize, really throw out those choice words while letting them know how you should've been able to buy 20 gallons of milk rather than 8 gallons.

Oh the fun/despair these loons bring lol.  I mean seriously its like do these people never shop ever that they wouldn't have food to make it at least a few days? Snow?!  Lets stock up for a month even though we just got groceries the other day lol.
