Too late to change time off request, day of event got changed

I'm pretty new at Kroger (about a month and a half) and I requested this Sunday off for a rehearsal, but the date of the rehearsal got changed to Wednesday. It's for a grade and I NEED to be there. Could I just call the service desk and ask to talk to my scheduling manager to tell him I need to change the request? Thanks

I'd talk to the scheduling manager in person and tell him it's school related.

See if you can switch days. Offer to work wed shift on Sunday, and take wed off. There's no loss there, it's just a sime matter of them switching the days around. Talk to your manager and schedule writer.

I need to request for a day off 2 weeks in advanced. It does not let me select dates if I want to choose day off a week in advance.

Notify management that you won't be in that day.  See if you can get someone to switch schedules with you.  Get a note from someone at school and call in the day you miss work.  If they try to write you up don't sign it.  I'm pretty sure if you are school age and have school work to do Kroger really can't do anything about it, especially since you have notified them about it in advance.  It's not your fault the school changed the date.  Kroger can just deal with it.  Call in that day.
