It happens a lot. Too much. I've talked to people about scheduling me before and nothings changed.
Im tired of peoplearning assuming I'll work when my availability says I wont. So I'm just going to not show up.

Did they accept your availability, or did you just submit it?
If they didn't accept it, there is nothing you can do. You can't just tell them "I can't work at this time" and be exempt from working at that time.
However, if they did accept your availability and then scheduled you outside of it, they can't punish you for not working that shift.
