Here's what I recommend. Scan every lable, every bin, check your on hands, need to counts, re check everything at least x 3, then hit f4 and replenish everything. Zero that out every hour at the quarter til mark, wait for the system to adjust for that, then e mail the DC with all brand name milk refill orders. 30 mins after THAT, f6 the bin audit/exception module and purge the entire screen selections.
But only do the 1st 2 things on alternating Wednesdays and the last thing on Tuesdays of leap year. (Sorry, forgot to mention that. Don't wanna come off like I'm dumb!)
They put you in charge of a department you know nothing about, right? If it was their idea, it means they want to get rid of you. They're hoping you'll screw up so badly that they'll have a legitimate reason to fire you. I've seen it happen time and time again.
