I can see why there's a forum for how badly Kroger sucks.
Within my first three days:
- Got called a bitch by a supervisor for asking questions
- Everyone in my dept acts like I'm the worst thing in existence so either ignores me or replies horribly rude when I need to know something
- Managers do nothing about my supervisor and it's only made her act worse
- Stuck doing everything they don't want to do, even the people in deli said they've treated me worse than the last ones
Our store has a high turnover rate and I can almost guarantee it's because of her since they say it's usually that dept, I'm still in my probation period and I'm not even sure I want to work in this store anymore due to how poorly I get treated here, what are your opinions?
I bet you're gonna still be there this time next year either still bitching about this one person or five more, and I bet you've gone through this same drama every other place you've ever worked. I bet they were glad to be rid of you.

How can you respond like this if you don't know the OP's whole story. I've seen many new hires get treated this way over the years, myself included. Coworkers are often as bad or worse than the dept heads. Sadly, some employees think seniority and authority are the same thing, and are downright cruel to new hires. It's almost to the point sometimes where it's borderline hazing.

Yes, because it couldn't be Krogrr with its fine, friendly, fun atmosphere and associate-friendly culture.
That;s why I never flush, espcially going number 2. in Kroger bathrooms. I'm a rebel.
I cleaned my share of kroger bathrooms and they can get pretty sketchy. Usually theres this older guy who keeps them pretty spotless through the week but on the weekends he does not work. So this one time in the morning Im on bathroom duties and the mens room someone took this dump that at least it was in the toilet unlike the pee but I swear to god it was the biggest turd I ever seen in my life.....I knew something was up as soon as I opened the door it just hit me. It wasnt even like it was soft or anything it was solid about the size of a ****ing chicken. It was obvious that **** wasnt going down I didnt even attempt to flush as I knew it would be a waste...I was a good worker but I let that one fly and left it for the next poor soul. I still have nightmares to this day I have no idea how it came out of a person...No trolling..
