I was recently fired after 11 years on the job. I found out yesterday that my claim was disqualified because the "evidence" showed I quit. The only "evidence" they had was the store managers word against mine. Oh, and I was told a shop steward was present, which was B.S., it was one of the dept. heads who is buddy buddy with the store manager.
Kroger hasn't heard the last from me. I'm appealing the decision and contacting a lawyer, and maybe suing the Union which was totally ****ing useless!
That's why I say even though it clearly states in the handbook that recording devices are not allowed, I would secretly record any conversations I had with management and the union over such matters. Then, when you need to sue them, you have the evidence to back you up. Also, never ever sign anything. That goes for everyone.

I tried to tell you this, but you wouldn't listen. You should of enacted your Weingarten Rights and had a representative from the Union come out and fight it. I'm not sure if it's too late, but call your union and see if they can file a grievance to get your job back with backpay.

That sucks.........You should try to get your job back surely there are some PETERS around to suck...IMO the quickest way to get the union on your side is to get some PETERS in your mouth....I realize it might not be your thing but its not gay and it just might...no It definetly will GROW on you...There is no shame in servicing a good peter..skinny....fat...short...black...white...its all good and gooey salt down your throat. Also gives me pride knowing I helped a PETER in need after all that is my thing...
