So I was recently hired at Kroger, and was called in for an orientation this Thursday. I can attend that, however, I am going out of town on Friday night and won't be getting home until Sunday. Would they be okay with that if they ask me to work this weekend or something? Because I've had these plans for a while and I really can't change them now.

Its likely they will want you to work the weekend. If they ask just explain. Don't worry about it-Kroger is hard up for people and needs all the help they can get.
