Washing hands after using the bathroom at Kroger?

Do you always wash your hands when you go to the bathroom at Kroger? There's that sign with "Employees must wash hands" I wash my hands most times but sometimes I am in a rush so I don't.

Also, does anyone know if the door handle to the bathroom is regularly cleaned? I always use my sleeve or paper towels to open the door.

Jake from produce.

If you don't wash your hands, at least use hand sanitizer. But, I always wash my hands.

FYI: a recent study showed that even the handwashing protocol used by World Health Organization surgeons left about 20% of the bacteria on the hands. Other studies suggest that our obsession with cleanliness is leaving us with weak, unchallenged immune systems.

Washing up is highly overrated.

I wash my hands, but water only, because Kroger uses antibacterial soap, and that breeds resistant bacteria.

For healthy folks, pee is sterile. It is, after all, how your body gets rid of toxins.

If I use soap every time, my hands go dry and cracked, and I mean bleeding.

So, after a pee, I just rinse well enough to get all the visible dirt off--which for me is a lot. If I have to crap, I do use soap, and rinse very well; I'm depending on getting the bacteria off, not killing them.

I also soap up before getting my hands wet--that allows better capture of oil and grease.

Relevant nerd joke:

Q: How can you pick the chemist out in the restroom?

A: He's the one who washes his hands BEFORE he pees.

Accordingly, I always condition the detergent aisle so as to do the bleach last, being careful not to touch my face. Then I wash up.

"In the Army, they taught us to wash our hands after we use the latrine."

"In the Marines, they taught us not to pee on our hands."
