The ONLY time LP is at our store is if someone steals formula, alcohol, medicines or LARGE quantities of the aforementioned. We canNOT stop th for safety. The only people who can is management/LP. This is in case we get hurt or they get busted up if we tackle them. I say, TOO F*CKING BAD if shoplifters get hurt. If you don't stop and hand over items AND return to store when asked, you wanna fight, then you get what you get. We don't need your kind in our store or society

The company would rather take the theft loss instead of dealing with the legal system.  Thieves have almost nothing to fear and it's only gonna get worse.

Speaking of security, what's the point of the noise makers at the entrance/exit door?  I dont know what theyre called but they say "don't linger or lean" and make a chirping noise occasionally that used to cause a front end person to take off running to turn off.  Now they'll let the noise go for several minutes.  Isn't that alerting us about something coming in or going out that shouldn't be?  Funny how they never stop and question anyone who exits and causes the alarm to chirp.  Too scared?

It's more thought of as a 'nuisance' now. Usually it's so busy the thing could be beeping for all it's worth, and it'll still be ignored because no one wants to go over and actually see why it's going off. Thieves know this and use it to their advantage.
