So I start my 40 hour paid vacation on Sunday (tomorrow) but I noticed that it still shows that I have 40 available vacation hours on the employee website. This is my first paid vacation and I'm paranoid that I'm not gonna get paid for it. When is it supposed to show that you've spent your remaining vacation hours?
For what it's worth, I've been with Kroger since 2014. So I'm sure that I am supposed to get paid for a week's vacation AT LEAST!
Does your schedule say vacation days or vacation week? If so, then you're good to go. Also, if your store is like mine, you have to write down that you're on vacation on the time clock corrections sheet so the payroll person knows to send in for your pay. Just write your name, badge number, and 1 week vacation with start and end dates.
It's not going to update until after you actually get paid for it on your next check. As long as you wrote it in the time clock corrections sheet on the HR manager's desk, you will be fine.
